About Project ADAPT

Project ADAPT is a new, groundbreaking research project that centers the lived experiences of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) adults in the United States. Our goal is to understand the different types of discrimination that African American, Hispanic/Latinx, and Asian American people face in their daily lives. We aim to understand how experiencing discrimination may influence decisions to use cigarettes, vapes, marijuana or alcohol.
